This is professional therapeutic treatment work involving planning, organizing, directing, implementing, and evaluating therapeutic programs for individuals served in an institutional or residential setting. The incumbent develops and carries out written training programs, participates in interdisciplinary team meetings, supervises or guides aides in assigned programs, and supports habilitation goals for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.Work requires organization, communication, flexibility, problem-solving skills, accurate documentation, and the ability to work effectively in an often-unpredictable care environment.
