Job Summary
The Associate Director of Undergraduate Nursing provides administrative support to the Director of Nursing. The role is a 12-month position as the primary administrative point-of-contact and site director for all academic programs in the College of Nursing and Health Professions on the Gulf Park Campus.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
+ Provides oversight of educational and administrative resources to assist with faculty concerns or issues related to those resources.
+ Plans the orientation and mentorship of new full-time and adjunct faculty members.
+ Monitors and reviews budgetary tracking for fiscally responsible decision-making at the School Director and college levels and subsequent approved budgetary processing.
+ Manages course and clinical scheduling and textbook adoption.
+ Assists with accreditation tracking and management.
+ Responsible for clinical contract initiation, tracking, and management (in consultation with the Clinical Coordinators and Administrative Coordinators and Specialists).
+ Monitors and evaluates clinical onboarding and student clearance for clinical participation at each facility (documentation of immunizations, TB, substance screen, CPR, etc.)
+ Serves as Campus liaison for full-time and adjunct faculty member needs.
+ Represents the College of Nursing and Health Professions at university and community events.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
