**Job Summary**

FranklinCovey is seeking a Senior Finance & Sales Commission Analyst to join our Enterprise North America FP&A team. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at the intersection of sales compensation, financial reporting, and data integrity. You will deliver the reporting and analysis that keeps our business informed, as well as own the end-to-end administration of sales commission calculations, serve as the primary escalation point for compensation disputes, and ensure our sellers are paid accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on precision, takes ownership seriously, and can connect the dots between Salesforce source data, DOMO reporting, and accurate compensation outcomes - while communicating that picture clearly and confidently to stakeholders at every level of the organization.

**Essential Job Functions**

**Financial Reporting & Analysis**

+ Own weekly reporting (pipeline and other key metrics), translating raw data into a clear, actionable view of business performance relative to plan

+ Prepare monthly reporting packages with client- and deal-level variance analysis that surfaces not just what changed, but why and what it means for the forecast

+ Contribute to annual budget preparation and weekly forecast submissions with accurate, well-documented, and audit-ready inputs

+ Execute ad hoc financial analysis and special projects with the same rigor and attention to detail applied to recurring deliverables

**Sales Commission Operations**

+ Administer monthly and quarterly sales incentive and commission calculations with a high degree of precision and accountability

+ Serve as the primary escalation point for compensation disputes, discrepancies, and plan interpretation questions in partnership with Enterprise People Services Business Partner

+ Prepare monthly commission accruals and ensure timely, accurate payouts across all sales compensation plans

+ Partner with Sales leadership and People Services/Total Rewards to support annual compensation plan design through data-driven modeling, scenario analysis, and cost impact assessment

**Data Integrity & Root Cause Analysis**

+ Identify, investigate, and resolve data issues originating in Salesforce that affect downstream compensation calculations and financial reporting

+ Partner with Revenue Operations to establish clear data ownership, upstream quality controls, and issue resolution workflows

+ Build and maintain documentation that maps source data flows from Salesforce through DOMO to compensation outputs, creating transparency and audit readiness

+ Proactively distinguish between reporting errors and source data errors, communicating findings and recommended actions to the appropriate stakeholders

**Cross-Functional Partnership & Process Improvement**

+ Serve as a trusted partner to People Services/Total Rewards, Payroll, Revenue Operations, Accounting, and Sales leadership - bridging the gap between financial data and business decisions

+ Educate and advise stakeholders on how to interpret compensation and financial reporting, and establish clear escalation paths for data and plan-related issues

+ Collaborate with senior leaders to support strategic business decisions with timely, accurate financial analysis

+ Continuously identify and drive improvements in compensation processes, financial systems, and reporting capabilities - moving the team from reactive to proactive

**Basic Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field

+ 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, accounting, or data analytics

**Preferred Skills & Experience**

+ Meaningful and hands-on exposure to sales commission administration

+ CPA certification or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

+ Strong proficiency in Salesforce, including a working understanding of how object-level data changes propagate to downstream reports and compensation outputs

+ Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, model building); hands-on experience with DOMO or a comparable BI platform (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)

+ Demonstrated experience administering, auditing, or reconciling commission calculations in a multi-plan, multi-tier sales compensation environment

+ Solid accounting fundamentals: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and month-end/quarter-end close processes

+ Exceptional communicator - able to translate complex, nuanced data findings into clear, concise narratives for non-technical and executive audiences

+ High degree of accuracy, personal accountability, and composure under the pressure of month-end and quarter-end deadlines

+ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, D365, or a comparable ERP system

+ Background in or strong familiarity with Revenue Operations methodology and GTM data flows

+ Hands-on experience with an Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform such as Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Spiff, or Varicent

+ Demonstrated track record of driving measurable process improvements in compensation administration, financial reporting, or systems workflows
