**Day to Day**

As Director of Product, Identity and Access you will drive the product strategy and execution for Indeed's Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) platform across B2C (hundreds of millions of job seekers) and B2B (employer organizations from SMBs to global enterprises). You will set and continuously refine strategy for your domain, translating company and business-unit goals into clear, coherent product portfolios - and holding your team accountable for delivering outcomes that ladder up to those goals. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and business leadership to align on priorities, resources, and sequencing. You bring deep experience across products, platforms, and markets, and you use that breadth to shape both what the organization bets on and how your teams operate. You will hire, develop, and coach product managers at every level, building career paths that grow senior ICs and future product leaders. Your leadership will ensure your team's products create meaningful, balanced value across multiple sides of the marketplace - with aligned incentives that drive outcomes over time.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set and continuously refine product strategy for a portfolio spanning multiple product areas and customer segments, translating company and business-unit goals into clear, sequenced priorities

+ Guide, coach, and develop a team of product managers - providing consistent feedback, supporting career growth, and building a healthy pipeline of future product leaders

+ Partner with Engineering leadership on platform architecture decisions - auth stack, session model, federation patterns, token lifetimes, identity-store evolution - and represent product trade-offs credibly in those conversations.

+ Partner with Security and Privacy/Legal to translate threat-landscape and regulatory changes (GDPR, CCPA, state-level privacy laws) into concrete product investments.

+ Define success metrics for the portfolio, establish mechanisms to track initiative progress and product health, and use data and experimentation to make informed decisions - building a team culture of rigorous measurement and continuous improvement

+ Ensure the portfolio creates value across multiple sides of the marketplace (job seekers and employers), with team incentives and strategies aligned to improve network effects over time

+ Build alignment with peers and senior leadership on strategy, investment decisions, and outcomes - and communicate results clearly to executive audiences

**Skills/Competencies**

+ Requires a minimum of 17 years of related experience; or a minimum of 15 years with a Bachelor's degree; or 12 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience.

+ Proven experience overseeing and developing teams of product managers, including performance management, coaching, and career development for senior ICs and future leaders

+ Demonstrated ability to translate company and business-unit goals into coherent product portfolios with clear priorities and measurable outcomes

+ High level of familiarity with the CIAM domain: OAuth 2.x / OIDC, SAML, session and token management, MFA / passkeys / WebAuthn, account-recovery design, federation and SSO patterns, SCIM provisioning, RBAC/ABAC authorization models.

+ Working understanding of the threat model that wraps CIAM - account takeover, credential stuffing, phishing, fraud rings, social engineering - and the product trade-offs between security and friction.

+ Solid analytical foundation with demonstrated experience defining success metrics, building measurement frameworks, and using data and experimentation to evaluate portfolio health, guide investment decisions, and drive iteration

+ Ability to align partners at all levels - from individual contributors to executive leadership - on strategy, priorities, and resource decisions

+ Experience designing how multiple products and platforms work together, with a demonstrated ability to identify shared capabilities that create leverage across teams
