+ Perform comprehensive eye exams and visual function evaluations in accordance with VBA protocols
+ Assess service-connected conditions such as ocular trauma, refractive errors, retinal disease, and other vision-related impairments
+ Document findings using standardized reporting formats-no treatment or follow-up care required
+ Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while working with sensitive Veteran health information
**??** **Qualifications**
+ Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
+ Active and unrestricted license to practice optometry in the state of service
+ Prior experience with VA or disability assessments preferred but not required
+ Strong clinical documentation and interpersonal skills
