Technical Program Manager III

**Day to Day**

+ Manage program plans to ensure timely, high-quality completion aligned with team and organizational goals.

+ Monitor and help mitigate program risks, escalating as needed.

+ Collaborate closely with engineering, product, UX, and other cross-functional teams to align efforts and resolve roadblocks.

+ Support program reviews with Engineering, Product, UX, and Science leadership to assess progress, address issues, and contribute recommendations.

+ Contribute to programs focused on engineering excellence aligned with business and organizational goals.

+ Provide regular updates to team members, partners, and leadership on status, challenges, and opportunities.

+ Engage cross-functional partners regularly to gather feedback and help refine processes that support quality and engineering best practices.

**Responsibilities**

+ Plan and manage moderately complex programs, supporting project delivery in partnership with engineering and product managers; step in to manage projects as needed.

+ Collaborate with program managers and cross-functional partners to support roadmap planning and execution.

+ Assist in conducting risk assessments to help ensure implementation plans meet partner requirements and priorities.

+ Communicate effectively with business partners to share updates, gather input, and support program success.

+ Help identify root causes of challenges or opportunities and partner with appropriate teams to support timely solutions.

+ Support and guide project teams, sharing best practices to enhance project management capabilities.

+ Promote collaboration across cross-functional groups to support alignment and successful program execution.

**Skills/Competencies**

+ Requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or a minimum of 8 years with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience.

+ Agile and adaptable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

+ Proven experience influencing senior management and managing major cross-functional initiatives.

+ Skilled in handling multi-year, highly technical programs (e.g., infrastructure migration, platform programs, re-architecture).

+ Ability to communicate technical topics to a business audience, and business topics to technical teams.

+ Expertise in various product development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

+ Experience collaborating with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products through the software lifecycle, with metrics orientation and a customer-centric mindset.

**Salary Range Transparency**

Tier 1-- United States of America 124,000-186,000 USD per year

Tier 2 - United States of America 138,000 - 208,000 USD per year

Tier 3- United States of America 151,000- 227,000 USD per year

Tier 4- n/a

Tier 5- United States of America 172,000-258,000 USD per year
