Head of Manufacturing
**Snapshot of your Day**

This role is a replacement for the Head of Manufacturing at
the CB Jackson facility, essential for ensuring business continuity. The
primary objective is to oversee and enhance manufacturing processes, focusing
on the implementation of standards for safety, quality, and productivity within
the Switchgears Americas business unit. To achieve these objectives, the
position is structured around three core areas: strategic production and
operations management, rigorous safety and quality assurance, and effective
people leadership. This framework ensures the role directly addresses the
operational demands of the facility while aligning with the broader 1-3 year
strategic goals for the department. Given the focus on operational excellence
and team leadership, the ideal candidate will be a senior manager with
extensive experience in complex manufacturing environments. They must possess
proven expertise in lean manufacturing, quality systems, and safety protocols,
coupled with the ability to lead and develop multiple teams to achieve
strategic targets.

**How to make an Impact**

+ Drive production performance by planning,directing, and monitoring operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, andcost targets

+ Optimize resource utilization through effectiveproduction scheduling and coordination with engineering, supply chain, andsales teams

+ Ensure operational reliability by managingequipment maintenance and minimizing downtime to sustain productivity and assetperformance

+ Champion a culture of safety and quality byenforcing EHS standards and implementing robust quality control and assuranceprocesses

+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives usingLean and Six Sigma methodologies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, andsolve root causes

+ Provide strategic leadership by developing teamcapabilities, managing budgets and KPIs, and aligning departmental goals withoverall business objectives

**What You Bring**

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial,Mechanical), Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant experience with 8-10 years ofprogressive manufacturing experience including leadership of multiple teams.

+ Strong expertise in manufacturing operations,including production planning, workflow optimization, and material requirementsplanning (MRP).

+ Proven experience implementing and sustainingLean Manufacturing principles to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.

+ Solid background in quality and safetymanagement, including quality control, environmental health and safety (EHS),and adherence to safety standards.

+ Proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies and rootcause analysis to identify issues and implement data-driven solutions.

+ Demonstrated leadership and managementcapabilities with strengths in strategic thinking, team building,accountability, and analytical problem-solving.
