SOX Program Manager Sr.
Description

The SOX Senior Manager leads and supports Huntington's SOX and FDICIA compliance program. On an annual basis this includes participating in the scoping and risk assessment processes, performing testing of entity-level controls, overseeing testing of transaction-level controls, monitoring testing status and action plans, evaluating control deficiencies and serving as the primary subject-matter expert on SOX 404 and ICFR requirements. This individual will help with preparation for Huntington's SOX 404 Sub-Committee by assisting in the development of meeting agendas and meeting packages; maintaining and tracking actions plans; and obtaining required approvals for critical components of the SOX and FDICIA compliance program. In addition to managing the SOX program, this individual will focus on process optimization, automation and efficiency initiatives. The role supports quarterly and annual reporting, which requires facilitating a quarterly certification process within the business segments. This individual will participate in corporate-wide initiatives like mergers & acquisitions and system implementations.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree (Business/Finance/Economics/Accounting)

+ Minimum 7 years SOX Leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

+ CPA, not required if relevant robust experience or MBA Strong leadership/managerial skills Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Excellent understanding of SOX compliance and current regulatory developments.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to foster a collaborative working relationship with multiple functional areas, operational areas, and complex business lines. MS Office expert.

Compensation Range:

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position.
