National Clinical Specialist Advanced Therapeutic
**Position Overview**

The National Clinical Specialist - Advanced Therapeutics is a national role reporting directly to the Manager, National Clinical Specialist - Advanced Therapeutics within the Sales organization. This position focuses on supporting the Advanced Therapeutics portfolio, with an emphasis on endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) technologies.

As a support resource, the National Clinical Specialist collaborates with the sales team to drive the achievement of sales goals across Fujifilm's Endoscopy portfolio. This role acts as a subject matter expert, bringing deep clinical and product knowledge in these specialized areas, and works closely with key opinion leaders (KOLs), customers, and internal teams-including sales management, product marketing, and field service engineers-to execute company initiatives.

Key responsibilities include supporting clinical product demonstrations, facilitating sales closures, and providing ongoing education and training to company personnel, customers, and sales partners. By combining technical expertise with strategic collaboration, this role ensures exceptional support for the company's Advanced Therapeutics portfolio.

**Job Description**

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Utilize ERCP, ultrasound/ultrasonography, GI, and pulmonary experience to help develop and maintain new products and support current ERCP and ultrasound products.

+ Assist in driving sales revenue at a regional and national level.

+ At a Zone level, partner with sales leadership to prioritize engagement and demo activities as it relates to the entire Endoscopy portfolio with a focus on ERCP, EUS and EBUS.

+ Lead the pre-demonstration (pre-demo) process required to ensure that a successful clinical demonstration process occurs.

+ Serve as the primary driver for the demonstration and sharing of clinical and product knowledge of Fujifilm's ERCP, EUS and EBUS product lines at a national level.

+ Provide technical assistance with a primary focus on ERCP, EUS and EBUS for all Endoscopy products to in-house personnel and in the field to customers, company representatives, and support personnel. Communicate expert opinions on behalf of the Company and offer possible solutions to the problems as described by the individuals.

+ Support the proliferation of information and education supporting Fujifilm's ultrasound technologies as well as Fujifilm's broader portfolio, including its Eluxeo platform with Linked Color Imaging (LCI) and Blue Light Imaging (BLI).

+ Be a primary resource for the training of customers on the proper use of equipment in the clinical setting and for developing educational materials in the field.

+ Work in conjunction with the Product & Marketing Team in the on-going development of required educational resources for the customer, sales team, Field Service Team, and internal support personnel for all Endoscopy technologies with a focus on EUS and EBUS.

+ Support the training of new field sales and support personnel when requested.

+ Perform as the field-based expert on proper reprocessing techniques for use by customers.

+ Support VIP customers at a regional level as directed.

+ Provide weekly and/or monthly reports to management as directed.

+ Provide and maintain customer data for integration into CRM.

+ Attend local, regional, and national trade shows as requested.

+ Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

+ Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

+ Comply with and pass all requirements for vendor credentialing as part of gaining access to hospitals and facilities to perform assigned job duties.

**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related quantitative discipline highly preferred.

+ Minimum of 7 years of related field sales experience or clinical experience, with at least 5 years of specialized expertise in endoscopic and endobronchial ultrasound imaging (EUS and EBUS scopes and processors).

+ Advanced proficiency in MS Outlook, and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with ability to produce reports and presentations.

+ Proven ability to manage time effectively, including managing multiple concurrent projects and prioritizing customer and other requirements under tight deadlines.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills, to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely, present information to various groups of people, write reports and communicate associated information, and ensure effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

+ Capable of identifying and prioritizing customer needs and translating those needs into actionable solutions.

+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including cross functional teams.

+ Proven ability to coach and mentor peers, develop new employees and the entire Clinical Specialist team collectively to contribute to the professional growth of team members and foster a collaborative team culture.

+ Ability to understand basic mathematical requirements for discount calculation.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, ability to use a keyboard, reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear.

+ Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 to 50 lbs.

+ Close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

**Travel** :

+ Ability to travel up to 80% of the time as required based on business need.
