DTS Associate Project Manager
**Job Description:**

**Ready to launch your project management career in technology? As an** **Associate Project Manager** **on the** **DTS (Data Transformation Services)** **team, you'll partner with experienced Program/Project Managers to help deliver key** **Application Technology** **initiatives-supporting projects such as** **Epic** **,** **Cyber Security** **, and** **software implementations** **. You'll gain hands-on experience coordinating schedules, milestones, stakeholders, and documentation while building the foundational skills needed to grow into a Project Manager role.**

**This is a strong entry point into technology project management where you'll get mentorship, exposure to high-impact initiatives, and the opportunity to build real-world PM skills while supporting meaningful technology work.**

**Essential Functions**

+ Responsible for adhering to the Intermountain designated governance and processes that include a structured approach that applies foundational knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to a project to meet the project objectives.

+ Works under the direct supervision of a director, manager, program manager or project manager. Able to effectively manage a minimum of 1-2 projects simultaneously. Able to effectively track project budget expenses.

+ Associate Project Manager assigned within a unique service area designated as a technical specialty area for project management (e.g., information technology, construction management, etc.) are accountable to apply specific technical specialty area requirements and skills necessary to successfully plan and deliver for projects in that area.

**Qualifications**

+ Demonstrated project management experience is preferred.

+ Previous exposure to and knowledge of project management tools is preferred.

+ Prior experience working in an integrated healthcare delivery organization is preferred.

+ Prior experience tracking project related budget and expenses is preferred.

**Physical Requirements**

+ Ongoing need for the employee to see and read information, labels, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.

+ Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require the employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.

+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate supplies and equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.

+ For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$33.75 - $53.16
