**Electrical Utility Infrastructure Manager**
**About the Role:** CBRE's Global Workplace Solutions isseeking a technically grounded electrical utility infrastructure manager tolead power due diligence, utility engagement, and electrical infrastructuresolutioning for a large-scale e-commerce client. This is a hands-on technicalrole responsible for site-level power assessments, utility strategy, easementanalysis, and translating grid-level constraints into actionable real estatedecisions. You will serve as the primary technical interface between clientregional leadership, utility providers, and internal project teams.
_Power & Utility Due Diligence_ : Drive poweravailability assessments across prospective sites, including load letterrequests, substation capacity research, service territory analysis, and utilityportal coordination. Evaluate upstream infrastructure constraints,interconnection lead times, and distribution upgrade requirements for siteswith limited available capacity. Compile and standardize utility responses,engineering feedback, and capacity confirmations into structured due diligencepackages. Track inquiry status across a concurrent portfolio of active sites,proactively surfacing delays and data gaps.
_Easements & Real Property Rights_ : Review andanalyze utility easements, right-of-way agreements, and access agreements forencumbrances, restrictions, and legal conflicts. Coordinate with titlecompanies, surveyors, and legal counsel through the full easement resolutionprocess. Maintain a portfolio-level easement tracker and prepare redlines andtechnical summaries for legal and senior team review.
_Utility Engagement & Coordination_ : Serve as theday-to-day technical liaison with utility account managers, right-of-way teams,and municipal contacts across active markets. Manage pre-application meetings,site visits, and utility coordination calls. Maintain structured contactdatabases and engagement logs to support consistent, market-wide relationshipcontinuity.
_Reporting & Documentation_ : Produce clear,technically rigorous due diligence summaries and project status reports forinternal stakeholders. Own project trackers, site timelines, and documentationlibraries. Develop and maintain standardized templates and checklists thatimprove consistency and reduce cycle time across the due diligence workflow.
**What You'll Need** : 5-7 years or more of directexperience in utility design & coordination, electrical engineering forlarge scale infrastructure, and/or power & energy expertise. A backgroundin electrical engineering, utility design & planning, and/or transmissionand distribution operations is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability tointerpret utility infrastructure data, assess substation and feeder capacity,and evaluate interconnection or service extension feasibility. Familiarity withutility easements, real property rights, and right-of-way documentation. Strongcommand of publicly available utility data, AI tools, and project trackingsoftware.
**Preferred Qualifications** : Working knowledge ofISO/RTO market structures (PJM, ERCOT, CAISO, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, SPP) andtheir implications for large commercial load acquisition. Hands-on exposure toDER technologies including solar, battery storage, and backup generation in a realestate or energy project context. Experience supporting occupier services ortenant representation transactions with a utility or infrastructure component.Track record managing concurrent due diligence workstreams across multi-marketportfolios.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $125,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $175,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
