We are seeking an experienced Document Control Professional to join our team in Greenville, SC. This role is ideal for someone with a comprehensive understanding of document control principles, industry standards, and best practices, who can apply that knowledge to support complex projects within an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and configure projects within the EDMS, ensuring compliance with document control standards and project requirements.
- Perform a wide range of document control activities, applying established procedures to resolve issues that may be non-routine or complex in nature.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve document control issues; escalate complex problems when appropriate.
- Prepare, maintain, and analyze document control reports for large and/or complex projects.
- Provide documented analysis and recommend corrective actions to project managers based on reporting trends and compliance findings.
- Ensure commitments to clients are met, whether working independently or as part of a project team, including adherence to agreed schedules, effort hours, and cost budgets.
- On occasion, lead or coordinate the work of document control support staff assigned to specific projects.
- Act as a subject matter resource for document control processes, standards, and EDMS usage.
- At least 10 years of Document Control experience
- Strong working knowledge of document control principles, theories, and concepts.
- Demonstrated experience with EDMS setup, maintenance, and reporting.
- Familiarity with current industry practices and standards related to document management.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines within budgetary constraints.
- Experience supporting large or complex projects preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
