**Job Summary**
The **Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)** **Manager** for the Education division is a strategic finance partner responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and analytical support for a complex and mission-driven business unit. This role works closely with Education division leadership to drive data-informed decisions, improve financial outcomes, and support long-term growth and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen, advanced modeling capabilities, and the ability to influence senior leaders in an environment that balances financial performance with educational impact.
**Essential Job Functions**
**Strategic Financial Leadership**
+ Serve as the **primary FP&A business partner** to Education division executives and operational leaders.
+ Translate strategic objectives into **financial plans, forecasts, and metrics** aligned with business priorities.
+ Provide proactive financial insights and recommendations to support **growth initiatives, investments, and cost optimization** .
**Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting**
+ Lead the **annual budget, long-range planning, and monthly forecast processes** for the Education division.
+ Develop and maintain **driver-based financial models** reflecting enrollment trends, program mix, pricing, staffing, and delivery models.
+ Own variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-year results, clearly explaining **financial and operational drivers** .
**Performance Management & Analytics**
+ Design and deliver **management reporting and dashboards** focused on KPIs relevant to education (e.g., enrollment, retention, utilization, margins, cost per learner).
+ Analyze trends across programs, regions, and product lines to identify risks and opportunities.
+ Support **business cases, ROI analyses, and scenario modeling** for new programs, expansions, and strategic initiatives.
**Stakeholder & Executive Support**
+ Prepare and present **clear, executive-ready financial materials** for senior leadership, board meetings, and operating reviews.
+ Act as a trusted advisor to non-finance leaders, helping them understand financial implications and trade-offs.
+ Partner closely with Accounting, Revenue Operations, HR, and Data/BI teams to ensure alignment and data integrity.
**Process Improvement & Systems**
+ Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and models to enhance **accuracy, scalability, and efficiency** .
+ Support FP&A system enhancements (planning tools, reporting platforms, data automation).
+ Establish best practices in financial governance and controls within the division.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
+ **5+ years** of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance including business unit and segment-levels, advanced model and forecast production, or strategic finance
+ Experience working in matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders
**Preferred** **Skills & Experience**
+ MBA or CPA/CFA
+ Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with FP&A tools specifically Adaptive as the company is undergoing its implementation (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Hyperion, Workday, Domo, D365 or similar)
+ Understands how to maximize AI utility for individual production output
+ Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to **non-financial stakeholders**
+ Prior experience in **education, EdTech, professional services, or subscription-based businesses**
+ Familiarity with **enrollment-driven revenue models** or service delivery cost structures
+ Experience partnering with executive leadership and presenting to senior-level audiences
+ People management experience or strong informal leadership track record
