Systems Engineer
**Description**
?SAIC is seeking a? **Systems Engineer** for shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands.
_This position is contingent upon award news expected Spring of 2026._
**Duties:**
+ Develop, update, and maintain project Systems Engineering documents including stage 4 and 5 test procedures, engineering block diagrams, and system manuals for shipboard C5ISR systems
+ Works with the multidisciplinary technical team to ensure successful shipboard industrial test procedures development and testing

**Qualifications**
**Required Education and Experience:**
+ Engineering Bachelors degree and two (2) years or more relevant experience with shipboard C5ISR experience on one or more of these systems: radio communication racks, Interior Communications(Alarm/Safety/Warning), shipboard CGOne/Unclass/SIPRNET LANs, Surface Search Radar, Navigation Distribution system, Integrated Bridge System; BS degree maybe offset with an additional 4 years of relevant C5ISR experience. Must be a U.S. Citizen
+ Must have an active Secret clearance
+ Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) - IA Level II - Security+ certification, or CISSP or equivalent (or willing to obtain within 180 days of hiring)
+ Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements
**Desired Qualification and Experience:**
+ Proficiency with Autocad, Adobe and Microsoft Office suite
