**Role Overview**

The Associate, Onboarding & New Hire Experience supports the design, customization, and delivery of **high-quality? onboarding experiences for employees joining the organization across all hire types** , including lateral hires, campus hires, executives, M&A, rebadge populations, and internal conversions.

This role plays a key part in executing **live, virtual, humanc ?entric onboarding programs** , partnering closely with senior team members to tailor content, coordinate logistics, and ensure new hires feel welcomed, informed, and supported from Day One. The associate will gain exposure to a wide range of onboarding programs and build strong foundational experience in employee experience delivery, stakeholder coordination, and program execution.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Onboarding Experience Execution**

+ Support the planning and execution of **live virtual onboarding sessions** for various hire types, including Day One experiences, offcycle? sessions, and specialized onboarding programs

+ Assist with **customizing onboarding content and agendas** to align with hire type, region, audience size, and business needs

+ Help manage session logistics such as scheduling, calendar invites, virtual platforms, attendance tracking, and follow up? communications

+ Provide live session support, including chat moderation, Q&A support, and real time? issue escalation

**Program & Operational Support**

+ Coordinate onboarding communications, including welcome emails, session invitations, and resource sharing

+ Maintain trackers and documentation related to onboarding schedules, participants, and program inputs

+ Support post?session activities, including distributing recordings, resources, and responding to common onboarding questions

+ Partner with cross?functional teams (e.g., HR partners, recruiters, benefits, IT) to ensure smooth onboarding execution

**Customization & Continuous Improvement**

+ Assist with adapting onboarding materials to meet the needs of different audiences, regions, and hire populations

+ Capture feedback from new hires and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve clarity, engagement, and experience

+ Support the documentation and maintenance of onboarding templates, playbooks, and standard processes

+ Contribute ideas to enhance the live virtual onboarding experience while maintaining consistency and quality

**Required Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

+ 3-5 years of experience in HR, onboarding, program coordination, operations, or employee experience roles

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

+ Clear written and verbal communication skills

+ Comfort supporting live virtual sessions and collaborating across teams

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience supporting onboarding, training, events, or live programs

+ Exposure to multiple hire types (e.g., campus, lateral, executive, M&A)

+ Familiarity with collaboration and virtual event platforms

+ Interest in employee experience, program management, or HR operations

**Salary and Other Compensation** :

Applications will be accepted until April 12,2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $68,000 - $75,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
