**About the role**

As a Oracle DBA Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and optimizing robust Oracle database solutions that align with business objectives and enhance operational efficiency. You will be a valued member of the technology delivery team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, including application development, infrastructure, and business partners, to deliver scalable and reliable solutions in a remote work model.

**In this role, you will:**

· Design and implement Oracle-based technology solutions that meet business and operational requirements.

· Develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code, packages, and scripts to support enterprise applications.

· Perform Oracle database performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and optimal response times.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration across Unix and Oracle platforms.

· Provide technical guidance and architectural oversight to ensure solutions align with best practices and organizational standards.

**What you need to have to be considered**

· Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database and Oracle PL/SQL development.

· Proven expertise in Oracle Database PL/SQL testing to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

· Demonstrated experience with Oracle performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization.

· Solid working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands for system operations and troubleshooting.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

**These will help you stand out**

· Experience working within the Order Management domain.

· Prior experience in a technology architect or lead DBA role.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

· Experience supporting enterprise-scale, mission-critical applications.

· Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in database architecture and security.

**Salary and Other Compensation**

The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
