Senior Member of Technical Staff- AI Experience- Oracle Health
**Job Description**

Our mission is to introduce an advanced and intelligent Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience. This innovation empowers clinicians to fully engage with their patients by enabling the EHR to support care delivery with natural language and contextually generated data and insights. Our team is focused on modernizing the EHR to help clinicians focus more on patients and less on the computer, and achieve peak efficiency-supported by generative AI and modernized applications. Our approach is to invest in new capabilities that leverage cutting-edge AI, user experience advancements, and open APIs for customers and third parties to build innovative, integrated solutions.

We are looking for full stack developers passionate about building new clinical applications, services, and user interfaces that exceed user expectations. We aim to create next-generation healthcare applications with world-class accessibility, usability, and cross-platform support.

We seek a hands-on engineer with technical breadth, **who is excited to take advantage of the latest advancements in AI-assisted coding** . The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to lead projects across organizational boundaries, and **demonstrate experience championing and accelerating the adoption of modern development practices** .

**Role Overview:**

As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will play a pivotal role in building the next-generation, AI-first Electronic Health Record. You will help define and develop complex distributed and cloud-scale services, working directly with technical leads to ensure that all new capabilities are built using the right design principles and the latest engineering innovations. **You will leverageAI-assisted coding tools and "vibe coding" practices to accelerate development, increase productivity, and elevate the overall quality of our solutions.**

**Qualifications:**

+ BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience

+ 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience

+ Proficient in at least one (preferably two) of the following languages: Java, C/C++, or Golang

+ Demonstrated experience using **AI-based IDEs (e.g., Codex, Claude, Cline, or similar tools), and integrating AI-assisted coding into development workflows to drive productivity gains and reduce turnaround times**

+ **Experience using the ChatGPT, Claude or similar models**

+ **Experience leveraging MCP Tools/Servers**

+ Familiarity of the **multi-tool orchestration and skills-based framework**

+ Familiarity with **"vibe coding"** approaches that blend hands-on coding with smart adoption of AI-driven solutions to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver reliable code

+ Strong understanding of core CS concepts (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems)

+ Enthusiasm for learning and quickly adapting to new tools and emerging technology trends

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working across teams and representing technical work to senior stakeholders

+ Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and scalable, reliable workflows is a plus

**Responsibilities**

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ **Accelerate development and time-to-market by leveraging AI-assisted coding capabilities and "vibe coding" practices, using tools such as Codex, Claude, and Cline to streamline application design, code generation, and debugging**

+ **Introduce, promote, and continuously improve AI-powered productivity enhancements across the engineering team-sharing best practices and guiding adoption of the latest AI coding tools**

+ Development, and deployment of key EHR platform components, ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions

+ Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to **deliver new AI-powered features** , APIs, and exceptional user experiences

+ Continuously evaluate and drive the integration of emerging AI-assisted development methodologies and tooling to further enhance productivity and code quality

+ Work closely with technical leads to enforce architectural rigor, security, and maintainability throughout the product lifecycle.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
