**Team Overview:**
Fusion Application as a Service (FAaaS) operates at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and enterprise applications, using OCI to modernize and scale some of the largest SaaS properties in the industry. We are transforming Oracle's Fusion SaaS portfolio into first-class OCI cloud citizens by building a platform that supports the end-to-end product lifecycle and delivers a secure, self-service cloud experience for customers. As AI capabilities become foundational to cloud platforms and SaaS experiences, FAaaS is accelerating delivery of AI-enabled features and services across the stack.
**Position Overview:**
As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will lead large, ambiguous, multi-org programs that are strategically important to the FAaaS platform and Oracle Cloud outcomes. You will set the program structure and operating mechanisms, define measurable outcomes, and drive alignment across engineering, product, operations, security/privacy, and executive stakeholders. You are expected to operate as a multiplier-improving how the org delivers AI-enabled cloud capabilities through scalable processes, standards, and repeatable playbooks. We are interested in Principal Technical Program Manager, with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in distributed systems, highly available services, and AI project management. As a seasoned Principal TPM, you will always "put the customer first" and have the mentality of "act now and iterate" while building innovative cloud-native products that leverage AI capabilities. The ideal candidate will have shown experience leading a set of projects, including AI initiatives, and participation in both short- and long-term strategy planning. As a member of our highly collaborative and motivated team, you will work with business partners, project managers, and technical staff to deliver effectively against commitments, applying your knowledge in program management to help secure the next generation of Oracle Cloud capabilities.
**Responsibilities**
**Specifically, you will:**
**Program Leadership & Delivery**
+ Lead end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of technical programs across cloud platform capabilities and AI/ML initiatives, from definition through launch and operational readiness.
+ Define program scope, milestones, dependencies, resourcing plans, and delivery schedules; drive execution using Agile and/or hybrid methodologies.
+ Establish crisp program mechanisms (OKRs/KPIs, status reporting, decision logs, RAID tracking, executive readouts) to ensure predictable delivery.
+ Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
+ Lead and apply project management discipline to develop plans, define scope, document requirements, and manage budget/schedule/resources for a complex group of projects.
+ Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in response to changing or ambiguous situations, directing changes through appropriate review and approval mechanisms.
+ Independently identify risks, manage corrective action plans when budget or schedule deviations occur, and escalate/communicate project health to senior leadership.
+ Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, tense environments with multiple competing priorities
+ Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
**Program Management (including: AI/ML GenAI + Traditional ML)**
+ Own establishing and managing multiple project deliverables, communicating project and program vision and ensuring IT resources are aligned properly.
+ Own establishing and managing multiple AI project deliverables, including AI model development, deployment, and integration with existing systems.
+ Engage and collaborate with business and development stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirement.
+ Utilize both agile and waterfall methodologies, driving technical and functional teams to complete critical path actions in a timely fashion.
+ Own delivery of AI/ML project workstreams, including data readiness, model development/selection, evaluation, deployment, integration, and post-launch monitoring.
+ Partner with engineering teams on MLOps practices (CI/CD for models, versioning, rollout strategies, observability, incident response) to support reliable production operations.
+ Drive model evaluation and quality processes (accuracy/quality metrics, regression testing, performance and latency targets, human-in-the-loop where applicable).
+ Coordinate cross-team integration of AI services into existing systems (APIs, workflows, and user experiences), ensuring scalability and operational excellence.
**Security, Privacy, Compliance & Responsible AI**
+ Ensure AI/ML initiatives meet enterprise requirements for security, privacy, compliance, and data governance (e.g., access controls, data handling, auditability).
+ Drive Responsible AI practices such as risk assessment, transparency/traceability, safety reviews, and appropriate controls for model behavior and output quality.
**Stakeholder Alignment & Communication**
+ Engage with product, engineering, security, operations, and business stakeholders to translate business goals into technical execution plans.
+ Proactively identify risks and issues, drive mitigation plans, and escalate effectively with clear options and tradeoffs.
+ Maintain a high level of organization and planning while communicating with stakeholders to reach timelines and maintain customer satisfaction.
**Operational Readiness & Continuous Improvement**
+ Establish and scale program management mechanisms and standards (templates, operating cadence, launch playbooks) adopted across teams.
+ Ensure operational readiness across all phases: reliability targets, runbooks, dashboards/alerting, capacity planning, launch criteria, and post-launch support processes.
+ Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase delivery velocity, quality, and predictability across the organization.
+ Ensure service teams meet the operational bar while continuing to raise the bar for the organization
+ Look for process definition and improvement opportunities and lead others in adhering to existing IT processes and contributing to their improvement.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
+ 10+ years of experience in Program Management on technical cross-functional projects.
+ Experience in managing and executing large-scale, complex technical projects and delivering high quality products.
+ Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence (wiki) or other Engineering development management tools.
+ Experience managing AI/ML or GenAI-related programs (model lifecycle, evaluation, deployment, integration, and monitoring)
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Master's or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or other technical related field.
+ Experience SaaS Cloud product, Cloud Infrastructure experience, Strong technical background in program or project management.
+ Experience delivering AI-enabled product features or platforms in a production environment (MLOps, release strategies, observability, incident management).
+ Proven ability to operate in fast-paced environments with multiple competing priorities while maintaining high delivery standards.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
