The successful candidate will join Vehicle Planning & Strategy and be placed in an area of need based on experiences and skills necessary to be successful. Candidates will have extensive interaction with cross-functional and management teams to lead key studies to approval, develop Ford's and Lincoln's future portfolios, and cast the portfolios in the Global Product Cycle Plan. Candidates should be self-starters who are willing to work diligently in an unstructured environment where initiative, creativity, maturity, and enthusiasm for learning are highly valued.
**What you'll do...**
+ Support development of compelling product propositions to meet customer expectations; Lead/support identification of the Winning Aspiration and profitability objective; Translate customer priorities into actionable items; Support customer research events as required
+ Complete Pre-Program Start deliverables assigned to Product Planning, on-time and with high quality.
+ Lead/support strategic studies and vehicle lifecycle strategies - explore white-space innovation opportunities.
+ Ensure robust business case development of Global Cycle Plan actions for senior leadership reviews and approval, and process Cycle Plan update requests.
**You'll have...**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
+ 3 + years of experience in a large enterprise or global company.
+ 2 + years of experience in a Project/Program Management and/or Planning role with skills including:
+ Ability to break down large, complicated projects into smaller, more manageable tasks, estimate the time required for each task and identify the dependencies of said tasks to define the critical path of any project.
+ Strong critical thinking skills; must be able to proactively identify problems and develop solutions.
+ Adept at using data, logic and emotion to persuade others to adopt their point of view.
+ Robust interpersonal skills are necessary as this role requires substantial informal leadership.
**Even better, you may have...**
+ MBA or Master's Degree in Engineering or related field.
+ 5+ years of Project Management experience in a Technical environment.
+ Automotive Industry experience.
+ Knowledge of GPDS and Global Integrator.

This position is a salary grade 5 to salary grade 8 and ranges from $63,480-162,120.,
