Senior C5ISR Systems Integrator
**Description**

SAIC is seeking a talented **Senior Systems Integrator** to support the integration and advancement of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems for modern naval platforms.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge program driving next-generation afloat mission capabilities, adapting to rapidly evolving strategic and environmental demands. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, integrate, and test advanced shipboard systems, including commercial communication networks, routers, switches, and next-gen network architectures.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Lead systems integration efforts, focusing on the development and execution of Stage 4 and 5 test procedures for shipboard C5ISR systems and commercial communication/network systems.

+ Develop, update, and maintain critical project documentation, including block diagrams, interface control documents, and test procedures, ensuring alignment with C5ISR requirements and commercial standards.

+ Integrate commercial networking systems (e.g., Cisco switches/routers, Ethernet, or fiber-optic networks) into shipboard C5ISR architectures.

+ Communicate system integration objectives and key updates, such as engineering changes, requirements, risks, and configurations, directly to the Project Manager.

+ Assess engineering change proposals, documenting potential risks and impacts to key milestones and deliverables.

+ Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful integration and testing of shipboard systems, adhering to industry's best practices and MIL-STD-2106.

+ Provide expertise in switching, routing, and communications to ensure seamless interoperability between shipboard C5ISR components and modern networking equipment.

+ Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to attain Authorization to Operate (ATO), ensuring compliance with cybersecurity requirements.

**Qualifications**

**Required Qualifications and Experience:**

+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience with shipboard C5ISR systems or network architectures (e.g., radio communication racks, Integrated Bridge Systems, shipboard LANs, switches, routers). A BS degree may be substituted with an additional 4 years of relevant experience.

+ Expertise in network integration, configuration, and troubleshooting of commercial-grade routers, switches, and IP network devices within defense systems.

**Security Clearance:**

+ Active Secret clearance required from day one.

**Certifications:**

+ Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) IA Level II certification required (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or equivalent).

**Desired Skills and Experience:**

+ Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite for project communications, documentation, and reporting.

+ Hands-on experience with AutoCAD to review and interpret system drawings and diagrams.

+ Familiarity with C5ISR system block diagrams and functional interface drawings.

+ Experience developing shipboard industrial test procedures in line with industry standards (e.g., IEEE 829, ISO/IEC 29119).

+ Proven ability to support RMF processes, achieving ATO by meeting applicable cybersecurity standards.

+ Prior experience working in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) environment or shipyard project environments.

+ Surface Search Radars (e.g., AN/SPY-6, SPS-series)

+ UHF, HF, VHF Marine Radios

+ Shipboard Communication Cabinets and Alarms

+ Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Fathometers, and Depth-Sounding Systems

+ Sonar Mission Systems (SMS)

+ Extremely High Frequency (EHF) Communications

+ NIPRNET, SIPRNET, SI LAN, and secure networking systems

+ **Commercial Networking Equipment & Technologies:**

+ Cisco routers and switches

+ Ethernet and fiber-optic networks

+ Telecommunication infrastructures integrating IP-based systems
