**Job Description**
As a?Senior Technical Pre-Sales Consultant, You will showcase the value of Oracle Cloud Applications, seamlessly integrated with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), showcasing innovations like GenAI delivering impactful business outcomes. In this strategic role, you'll serve as the subject matter expert in the technology and technical underpinnings of Oracle Cloud Applications, and a trusted technical advisor-helping customers understand how Oracle's unified cloud technology stack can drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage.
You will work cross-functionally with sales, product development, and engineering teams to ensure our solutions are technically sound, market-relevant, and aligned with customer needs. Your ability to translate complex architecture into compelling, real-world solutions-paired with strong communication and presentation skills-will be instrumental in winning new business and building lasting, high-impact customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
+ Act as a trusted advisor and technical thought leader for Oracle customers
+ Build and nurture strong relationships by understanding clients' business challenges and strategic goals
+ Understand the needs and pains of the customer and then link them to a set of products/solutions provided by Oracle
+ Lead technical presentations, workshops, and strategic discussions that highlight the value of Oracle Cloud Applications powered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
+ Simplify complex technical concepts into clear, business-relevant insights for diverse audiences
+ Respond to tenders, RFI, RFP, security questionnaires, with respect to product/solution information as needed.
Strategic Sales Support
+ Collaborate with sales teams to craft and execute strategies for engaging key accounts
+ Provide deep technical expertise and credibility throughout high-impact sales cycles
+ Qualify opportunities and design tailored presentations and demonstrations that showcase solutions that address specific customer needs

**Responsibilities**
As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
+ Experience: 10+ years in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, enterprise architecture, or related roles, preferably with a focus on cloud-based enterprise applications
+ Cloud & SaaS Expertise: Proven experience with Oracle or similar enterprise SaaS platforms (ERP, EPM, HCM, SCM, Logistics), including configuration in a technical pre-sale. Implementation experience a plus but not required.
+ Technical Skill Set:
+ Proficient in web and integration technologies: HTML, JavaScript, SQL, REST, SOAP
+ Understanding of security and infrastructure: WAF, SIEM, networking fundamentals, encryption fundamentals
+ Familiarity with relational databases, object-oriented programming, and middleware technologies
+ Experience with cloud-native architectures and platform services (PaaS) is a plus
+ Experience or familiarity with building GenAI Agents
+ Domain Knowledge:
+ Strong understanding of enterprise business processes in ERP, SCM, Logistics, EPM, and HCM
+ Understanding business processes in manufacturing, high-tech, software/SaaS, retail, CPG, distribution, energy, or service industries is a plus, but not required
+ Communication & Influence:
+ Skilled in delivering technical presentations, demos, and architecture discussions
+ Able to translate technical capabilities into business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
+ Professional Attributes:
+ Self-motivated, adaptable, and thrives in fast-paced environments
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Comfortable engaging with both technical teams and executive leadership

US: Hiring Range in USD from $45.43 to $85.63 per hour; from: $94,500 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
