Project Engineering Consultant
**What You'll Be Doing**

**Job Scope:** This position will support onsite needs as a Project Engineering Consultant and resource to ensure environmental compliance requirements with the client site and applicable jurisdiction by performing professional engineering services and obtaining permits, supporting facility evaluations, and other various support efforts.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ Geotechnical scope development and support for landfill

+ Provide essential documentation related to regulatory permit compliance:

+ (NPDES, SWPPP, RCRA, Title V, UIC & CRG)

+ Wetland delineation and mitigation planning

+ Closure specification and design coordination

+ NPDES hydraulic analysis of industrial facility

+ Storm water maintenance coordination

+ Landfill Expansion Project permit application development

+ Utility easement assistance with Corporate Real Estimate

+ Facility Siting evaluation

+ Nature Conservancy property transfer coordination

+ Assist operation with storm water management planning

+ Assist operation with RCRA secondary containment documentation (emergency Overflow support)

+ Assist operations and site environmental project team with issues as requested

+ Assist in Environmental Projects FEL and Production Design as necessary

+ Attend area PMT and shutdown meetings

+ Provide support to the operations and maintenance organization

+ Provide support in the development of annual reports for various needs

+ Interface with contract construction in the installation and maintenance

**Ideal Background**

**Education:** Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an EAC/ABET-accredited program required. Environmental sciences coursework required.

**Experience:** At least 3 years of professional environmental services experience with knowledge of supporting needs at a heavy industrial site.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time

+ Ability to walk reasonable distances, potentially on uneven ground or catwalks, and ascend stairs

+ Ability to climb ladders and otherwise navigate through industrial/manufacturing settings and around equipment/installations
