**What You'll Do**

+ Design and implement robust, cloud-native security features using modern programming languages (Java, Python, Go, or similar).

+ Lead the development of secure services and threat-resilient architectures across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and public cloud platforms.

+ Champion engineering excellence: conduct technical deep-dives, lead critical design discussions, and perform thorough code reviews.

+ Foster a security-first culture by mentoring engineers in secure coding, DevSecOps, and best-in-class engineering practices.

+ Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance with security standards and deliver scalable, resilient systems.

**What Makes You a Great Fit**

+ 8+ years in cloud security or software engineering, with a strong track record in the design and deployment of secure, scalable solutions.

+ Proficient in Java, Python, Go, or other contemporary programming languages.

+ Hands-on experience delivering solutions on OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP.

+ Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

+ Deep problem-solving abilities, with a bias for action and a passion for technical leadership.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

+ Expertise in building and operating large-scale, highly available, distributed systems.

+ Familiarity with operating systems, data models, security protocols, and cloud infrastructure technologies.

+ Experience with Agile development methodologies and leading engineering initiatives.

+ Knowledge of modern cloud security principles, networking, storage, or big data solutions is highly valued.

**Responsibilities**

As a member of the security engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the designing, developing and debugging of security applications. Key responsibilities :

**Design and Implement Security Capabilities** Develop, enhance, and integrate robust security features for Fusion Applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Focus areas include identity and access management, data protection and encryption, threat and anomaly detection, and secure service architecture.

**Drive Delivery and Execution Excellence** Partner with cross?functional engineering, product, and operations teams to prototype solutions, perform rigorous code reviews, and deliver secure, scalable services within agile development cycles. Contribute to high?quality releases through strong technical judgment and hands?on execution.

**Mentor and Elevate Engineering Practices** Guide junior engineers in secure coding standards, operational best practices, and effective use of DevSecOps tooling. Foster a culture of continuous learning, security awareness, and engineering excellence across the team.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
