**Subscription Revenue Platform Software Engineer**

**In this position...**

You'll directly impact Ford's financial success by building and enhancing a critical subscription revenue platform that drives revenue recognition for our integrated services.

You'll be at the forefront of major modernization efforts, tackling exciting technical challenges and evolving our tech stack to redefine billing and payment orchestration.

You'll become a recognized subject matter expert in Zuora development while also gaining valuable full-stack experience, broadening your skills across a vital financial platform.

**What you'll do...**

You'll design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions for billing, payment orchestration, and financial reporting, directly enabling critical revenue recognition for Ford's integrated services.

You'll be the subject matter expert for Zuora development, guiding its strategic implementation and optimization as we modernize our platform.

You'll apply your full-stack engineering skills to enhance and evolve our entire platform, ensuring seamless functionality and high performance across all components.

You'll partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams to translate complex business needs into scalable and innovative technical solutions.

You'll proactively identify and tackle challenging technical problems, continuously improving the reliability, efficiency, and future-readiness of our critical financial platform.

**You'll have...**

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

**Even better, you may have...**

+ Extensive hands-on experience with Zuora platform development, including deep understanding and practical application of Zuora APIs (REST, SOAP), Z-Objects, custom fields, workflows, and integrations with external systems. Experience with Zuora Revenue and/or Zuora Billing configuration and customization is highly valued.

+ Proven experience developing and maintaining applications within a cloud environment, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

+ Solid understanding of financial systems, billing processes, payment gateways, and accounting principles, ideally within a subscription-based business model.

+ Experience with full-stack development, including proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js), front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), and relational or NoSQL databases.

+ Familiarity with microservices architecture, API design, and event-driven systems.Experience implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps best practices.

+ A track record of contributing to technical design discussions and driving the adoption of best practices in software development.

+ Experience working in an agile development environment.

This position is a salary grade 8.
