Senior Test Automation with Mobile and Web Applications experience
**About the role**
As a **Senior Test Automation with Mobile and Web Applications experience,** you will make an impact by ensuring high-quality delivery through robust automation for mobile and web platforms. You will be a valued member of our Quality Engineering team and collaborate closely with offshore teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient testing solutions.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Participate in daily stand-up calls and provide timely updates.
+ Manage and mentor offshore automation teams to ensure smooth execution.
+ Update and maintain automation frameworks for mobile and web applications.
+ Develop functional test cases and automation scripts for end-to-end validation.
+ Perform functional and automated regression testing to ensure system stability.

**What you need to have to be considered**
· 5+ years of experience in test automation for mobile and web applications.
· Strong experience in automation frameworks like Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
· Hands-on experience in API automation testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
· Solid knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, NUnit, TestNG, or Jest.
· Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Kotlin.
· Strong experience with database testing and validating stored procedures using SQL.
· Experience in integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket).
· Familiarity with cloud-based mobile testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

+ Experience with performance testing tools and strategies.
+ Exposure to microservices testing and containerized environments.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.

**Salary and Other Compensation:**

The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 to 92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
