**Job Title: MES Functional Consultant**
Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned MES Functional Consultant with extensive experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and their integration across multiple levels of manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will lead MES implementations, optimize production processes, and ensure seamless connectivity between plant systems and enterprise applications. This role requires strong domain expertise, hands-on MES experience, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence. The position involves up to 20% onsite travel for assessments, deployments, and facilitation.
Mandatory Skills
+ Extensive knowledge of MES and integration with Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) applications.
+ Proven experience in MES implementations within manufacturing plants.
+ Strong understanding of MES interfaces with Level 2 (PLC, SCADA) and Level 4 (ERP) systems.
+ Expertise in MES L4, L3 & L2 Integration and manufacturing domain knowledge.
+ Ability to travel onsite for site assessments, deployments, and facilitation (up to 20%).
+ Hands-on experience with MES systems.
Preferred Skills:
+ SQL Server / Oracle Database experience.
Job Responsibilities
+ Act as a senior MES Functional Consultant with 10 -15 years of experience.
+ Drive successful manufacturing operations and ensure seamless integration across multiple levels.
+ Oversee MES system implementation to optimize manufacturing processes.
+ Provide domain expertise for production planning and control.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align MES solutions with business objectives.
+ Develop and maintain technical documentation for MES systems and integrations.
+ Perform fit-gap analysis and multisite comparisons to derive unified workflows.
+ Conduct system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MES and integrations.
+ Train and mentor junior team members on best practices.
+ Monitor system performance and recommend efficiency improvements.
+ Ensure data integrity and security across integrated systems.
+ Gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives for MES capabilities.
+ Support development of new features based on user feedback.
+ Exhibit expertise in production planning and industrial manufacturing.
+ Lead successful integration projects and manage onboarding processes.
Good-to-Have Skills
+ Manufacturing domain experience.
+ Ignition MES knowledge.
+ Experience integrating MES/Plant Systems with automation and ERP systems.

**Compensation:** - $90,000 to $150,000 +/- and this position are also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Application will be accepted by 12/26/2025
