Client is seeking a **Senior Systems Engineer** to oversee and coordinate systems engineering activities, ensure comprehensive integrated C5ISR systems design, and compliance with technical requirements for new ship construction.
**Work is performed on site in Pascagoula, MS. - willing to TRAVEL candidate to Mississippi to complete 8 month project. Will receive per diem and be able to fly back to their home at least once a month.**
**Qualification Requirements:**
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering field
- Ten (10) or more years of overall system engineering experience
- Seven (7) years C3ISR, C4ISR, C5ISR, and/or C6ISR shipboard experience
- Familiar with shipboard C5ISR Interface Control Documents, Block diagrams, and Functional Interface Drawings
- Proficiency in systems engineering methodologies and tools
- Experience supporting projects in a Shipyard environment
- Must be willing to travel at least once a month to customer location(s)
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Cyber security, electromagnetic compatibility, and usability principles knowledge
**Required Clearance:**
- Active Secret Clearance
**Required Certification** :
- Cybersecurity Workforce Level II cert i.e. Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP
