We're looking for an experienced **AS400/Synon Developer** to join our IT team. You'll design, develop, and maintain AS400/Synon applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, reliable solutions. Your expertise in **RxCLAIM (Adjudication)** and ability to troubleshoot and optimize legacy systems will be essential.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Lead development using Synon, AS400/COBOL, CLP
+ Enhance and implement new system features
+ Provide domain expertise in Medicare/Medicaid Claims and Payer systems
+ Follow SDLC best practices: analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment
+ Create and maintain technical documentation
+ Translate business requirements into technical solutions

**What you need to have to be considered**
+ 6+ years of AS400 + Synon development experience
+ Strong Synon coding skills
+ Experience with RxCLAIM (Adjudication)
+ Proficient in COBOL/400, CLLE, CL/400, SQL/400, QUERY/400

**Salary and Other Compensation:**
The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 to $93,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
