**Job Summary**
As a Business Controls Intern, you will assist in evaluating, monitoring, and enhancing our internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
**Job Description**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Business Controls Intern** to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business controls and contribute to the effectiveness of our organizational processes. The internship dates are June 1, 2026 to July 31 2026.
This internship is a **fully remote, full-time opportunity** requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. Candidates must be available during core business hours for the entire 9-week duration of the program (8:30 pm EST to 5 pm EST). Please note that all work must be performed within the United States. Only work authorizations that will not require sponsorship now or in the future will be considered.
**What You'll Do**
+ Assist in the evaluation and documentation of business processes and internal controls
+ Support the identification and analysis of control weaknesses and recommend improvements
+ Participate in audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of controls
+ Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with established procedures and policies
+ Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
+ Assist in the development and implementation of new control frameworks
+ Contribute to special projects aimed at improving overall business performance
**What You'll Need**
Required
+ Current Junior pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
+ Minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher
+ Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
+ Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and develop new skills
Preferred
+ Previous internship or work experience in business controls, audit, or related areas
+ Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques
+ Understanding of risk management and compliance principles

The pay rate for this position is $17 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
