Job Description

This position will be responsible for day to day filling of prescriptions in a long term care pharmacy servicing skilled nursing, assisted living facilities and retail customers; duties include, but are not limited to, supervision of pharmacy technicians involved in order entry verification and packaging interaction with nursing personnel, customer service and other duties as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy Services.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Framework PIS and Docutrack paperless document management software.

Minimum Qualifications

Pharmacy degree from an accredited school. Current Mississippi Pharmacist License. Must be able to work 8:30 am to 5:30 pm on an as needed basis. Must have excellent communication and problem solving skills. Must be able to adapt to new software applications not normally seen in retail pharmacies.
