Payroll Manager
Description
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations for a large multi-state workforce. This is a long-term contract position based in Louisville, Mississippi, offering an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processes. The position will offer hybrid/ remote work flexibility and paid travel expenses while working onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute full-cycle payroll processes for over 500 employees across multiple states.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process payroll and maintain accurate employee records.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll functions.
- Develop and implement payroll procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports to support financial planning and audits.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and apply them to company processes.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries.
Requirements - Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll for large organizations.
- Expertise in handling multi-state payroll operations.
- Familiarity with payroll systems, specifically ADP Workforce Now.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage payroll for over 500 employees effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address payroll discrepancies.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and addressing employee inquiries.
