Job Summary

This position is responsible for identifying, cultivating and soliciting donor prospects for athletic teams and associated athletic programs. This position will provide leadership and supervision of Annual Fund/Eagle Club, ticket sales, ticket operations, and various functions of the Development Office.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

+ Maintain and grow annual fund support for Athletics and the development, implementation, management, and refinement of programs that engage and encourage participation of alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends in supporting Southern Miss Athletics.

+ Oversee individual ticket programs and promotions, advertising campaigns and community programs designed to increase attendance and revenue.

+ Oversee and manage all aspects of Southern Miss Athletics parking operations, ensuring a seamless game day experience that supports ticketing logistics and enhances overall customer satisfaction.

+ Provide regular reports to the Department of Athletics leadership on progress toward meeting sales/ticketing revenue goals and objectives.

+ Plan and implement programs that raise awareness, inform and cultivate individuals with the capability of making gifts.

+ Lead Eagle Club staff in special projects in support of increasing Southern Miss Athletics donor base and associated philanthropic support.

+ Represents the department of athletics at civic clubs, alumni gatherings, and other representative social environments.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in sport management, business, management, marketing, or other related field from an accredited college or university; Three to seven years of experience in tickets sales/operations, development, or other closely related field.
