**Description**
**Major Job Activities**
Key Responsibilities:
+ 30% - Train, advise, and assist IqAF personnel in operational scheduling, training management, and aircrew flight coordination procedures.
+ 25% - Plan and schedule F-16 aircrew flight training and aircraft sorties; manage simulator scheduling and daily flying schedules.
+ 15% - Provide oversight and technical assistance in managing flight data, tracking training qualifications, and updating operational reports.
+ 10% - Guide the use and interpretation of technical publications and scheduling tools (e.g., ARMS, ILIAS, and PEX).
+ 10% - Maintain and document accurate training records, flying hours, and operational logs; validate aircrew qualifications and unit flying hour programs.
+ 5% - Coordinate with aircraft maintenance, base operations, and SOF for up-to-date flight status, airfield operations, and mission requirements.
+ 5% - Perform additional operational tasks and support duties as directed by Site Management.
**Material & Equipment Directly Used**
Flight scheduling tools (ARMS, PEX, ILIAS), mission planning systems, UHF/VHF radios, classified tracking systems, Microsoft Office Suite, technical orders, and aircrew readiness documentation systems.
**Working Environment**
Deployed operational environment in Iraq with exposure to office and flight line operations. Routine interaction with U.S. and foreign military personnel. High emphasis on flight safety, operational security, and cross-cultural team integration.
**Physical Activities**
Frequent walking, standing, and coordination across operations and maintenance areas. Occasional lifting of documentation or scheduling systems tools. Worldwide travel, including deployment to the Middle East, required.
**Qualifications**
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: 10+ years in aircrew operations, scheduling, and flight resource management (F-16 preferred). Direct experience working with IqAF and CLS program highly desirable.
Certifications: USAF Aviation Resource Management and/or SARM/HARM training preferred.
Other Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required; Secret clearance or interim acceptable; strong interpersonal, training, and communication skills; operational flexibility and readiness to support mission-critical tasks in deployed environments.
