The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) provides training opportunities for eligible low-income older adults seeking to reenter the workforce and gain valuable job skills.

Participants may receive training in areas such as clerical support, childcare, food preparation, and janitorial services.

To be eligible for the program, applicants must:

• Be at least 55 years of age.


• Be unemployed.


• Meet the program's income eligibility requirements.


• Reside in one of the following counties: Clarke, Jasper, Kemper, Lauderdale, or Neshoba.
