Site Care Crew Leader

The Site Tech Crew Leader must be capable of leading by example, following company policies and management directives, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in the lawn care and landscape maintenance industry.

  • Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and train team members.

  • Willingness to follow company policies, procedures, and instructions from management.

  • Valid driver's license (preferred).

  • Ability to pass a background check and/or drug screening, if required.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Supervise and lead daily lawn maintenance operations.

  • Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed on schedule.

  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.

  • Operate commercial lawn maintenance equipment, including:

    • Commercial lawn mowers

    • Weed trimmers (weed eaters)

    • Edgers

    • Leaf blowers



  • Perform routine lawn and landscape maintenance.

  • Trim shrubs, hedges, and ornamental plants.

  • Remove weeds from flower beds and landscaped areas.

  • Monitor equipment for proper operation and report maintenance needs.

  • Ensure all crew members follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.

  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.

  • Communicate effectively with customers and management regarding project progress or concerns.

The Site Tech Crew Leader is expected to:




    • Demonstrate professionalism and integrity at all times.

    • Lead by example through a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

    • Manage employee performance, attendance, and minor workplace issues professionally and responsibly.

    • Resolve routine employee concerns independently whenever appropriate, escalating only serious or emergency situations to upper management.

    • Foster teamwork, accountability, and respect among crew members.

    • Ensure company standards and customer expectations are consistently met.



Physical Requirements




    • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including prolonged exposure to heat, humidity, sunlight, and dust.

    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.

    • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

    • Ability to safely operate commercial lawn maintenance equipment for extended periods.

    • Ability to work a full shift performing physically demanding outdoor labor.
