The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of home care services in their assigned area. This includes recruiting, training, supervising caregivers, and fostering a positive team culture. The Branch Manager acts as the primary contact for both caregivers and clients. This role also involves building referral relationships and supporting marketing and community outreach initiatives to drive business growth.
Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local home health regulations, including HIPAA and Medicaid/Medicare, to maintain high standards of client care and satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
· Supervise caregivers through coaching, development, and discipline to ensure quality care and policy compliance
· Submit precise reports as needed by management.
· Address client and caregiver complaints
· Be active and visible in the community by joining events and clubs.
· Follow all TRM policies, rules, and laws relevant to your duties and responsibilities.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Interview and train employees
· Plan, assign, and direct work schedules
· Analize performance
· Reward and encourage employees
· Address complaints and resolve problems
· Provide a substitute to fill in for a caregiver when needed
TECHNICAL SKILLS NEEDED:
· Experience and familiarity with using computers, tablets and standard office equipment.
· Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication abilities:
· Communicate verbally in a clear and professional manner.
· Demonstrates strong writing abilities by consistently applying precise word choice, correct grammar, accurate spelling, and proper punctuation in all written communications.
· Maintain professional phone etiquette by ensuring appropriate tone and volume during conversations.
MENTAL EFFORT NEEDED:
· Ability to handle adversity with emotional maturity and calmness
· Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced, changing environment and maintain a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
· Ability and willingness to support Elderly, Disabled, and Recovering clients
· Ability to follow policies, procedures and written instructions, as well as verbal instructions or directions from his/her supervisor.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Ability to get along well with coworkers and to work as part of The Refujah Manner team, working towards TRM’s goals set forth by its’ Board of Directors.
PHYSICAL EFFORT NEEDED:
· Regular, timely attendance during assigned work hours.
· Physical agility to allow movement from place to place.
· Normal physical strength to handle routine DLAs for clients
· Normal dexterity of hands and fingers.
· Occasional lifting and transporting up to 25 lbs.
· Occasional overtime or after- hours work required.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Be ready & able to provide full-time care for a client, & supervise their care team’s operations when applicable.
· Be capable of working on your own without continuous monitoring
· Ability to successfully complete all mandatory training courses
· Have dependable transportation
