Compensation for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.

 

Only applicants that currently reside within a 50-mile radius of Brandon, MS will be considered for this role. This role is fully on site.

 

As the Manager, Field Operations,you'llmanage all aspects of the third-party operations on behalf of thecustomer and serve as a liaison and main point of contact between the customer and third-party carriers.On our team,you'llhave the support to excel at work, and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.

 

Whatyou'lldo on a typical day:

 

Monitor, track, and evaluate LCCcarrier performance tokeyperformanceindicators (KPIs)andmetrics

 

Responsible for leading LCCcarriermanagement toestablishcountermeasures and improvement plans are created and executedand follow up with carrierregardingprogress being made to these countermeasures

 

Leadon-site LCCcarrier activities to include 12 - 16 by 5 coverage for all issues not limited to natural disasters, operation shutdowns, business continuity plans, etc.

 

Createstandardized work procedures (SOS/JES) for LCC activities

 

Educate, train,and monitor LCCcarrier execution tostandardizedwork

 

Perform process audits and lead various carrier performance reviews

 

Provide reporting for LCC performance metrics toappropriate leadership

 

Work withthe customertoestablishstrategies for continuous improvement ofthe consolidation centers

 

Leadvaluestream mapping activities and creates LCC process flowdiagrams

 

Review weeklylogisticsconsolidationcenter invoice submission for validity andfirstlevel approval of invoicesin excess of$330K/week and $17M/year

 

Identifycost savings of $100K/annual in LCCprojects

 

Participate in network carrier transitions that consist of weeklong assignments away from home

 

Work across two shifts with LCC Operations ending at 1830 EST at least one/afternoon evening per week

 

At a minimum,you'llneed:

 

4years oflogisticsor transportation experience

 

Demonstrated group presentation skills and excellent negotiation skills to deal effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization

 

Strong Fluency of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word,Exceland PowerPoint

Comprehend multiple sources of data toidentifyand solve areas of improvement.
