Coombs Gas is a family-owned and operated propane company proudly serving families and businesses across Mississippi and Tennessee since 1969. We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in our Aberdeen, Mississippi office.

Position Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play an important role in serving our customers and supporting day-to-day operations. This position involves assisting customers by phone and in person, processing payments, scheduling service, and helping ensure an excellent customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Answer customer phone calls and assist with questions and service needs


• Process payments and maintain accurate customer records


• Schedule propane deliveries and service appointments


• Open and update customer accounts


• Resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner


• Provide information about Coombs Gas products and services


• Work closely with team members to support daily office operations

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills


• Good computer and phone skills


• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment


• Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities


• Attention to detail and documentation skills


• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other basic computer programs


• A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus, but not required
