Position: Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach Job Description: To assist the Head Coach with all phases of the Men's basketball program. These phases include, but not limited to recruiting, student-athlete development, scheduling, practice development, game preparation, video editing, scouting, eligibility, travel, laundry, purchasing and maintaining the equipment, and keeping the program within its budget. The Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach reports directly to the Men’s Head Basketball Coach.
Qualifications:
The PREFERRED qualifications for this position are:
• Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in an academic discipline taught at Southwest Mississippi Community College and coaching experience on the college level.
The REQUIRED qualifications for this position are:
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of coaching experience.
