Duties: Provide Transmission Planning services throughout the Entergy Transmission system, including engineering analysis and initial project development.

Requirements: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (power systems focus), or closely related field. Expertise in load flow/power flow modeling, transmission adequacy assessment, and system reliability evaluation. Advanced knowledge of shift factors and DC Power Flow. Good understanding of each: MISO processes (including MTEP, DPP); Resource Adequacy; Stability, Short Circuit, and Economic concepts. Ability to perform MISO Deliverability NRIS and ERIS analysis, SCED analysis, N-1-1 analysis, Transfer Analysis. Ability to execute FAC-002 relevant studies on hyper scale data with co-located generation and to create idevs with automation. Python coding ability and ability to create simple scripts independently. Skilled in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, Access). Hybrid schedule permitted. Travel up to 25% to company sites (TX, LA, MS, AR).
