This Opportunity is for an Industrial Controls Engineer with a work location in Greenville, MS.

TITLE: Industrial Controls Engineer
LOCATION: Greenville, MS
DUTIES: Support the development and design of existing SCADA systems. Utilize Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming software to create, test, and deploy programs that control automated processes. Utilize Human Machine Interface (HMI) design software to develop machine interfaces that visualize machine processes. Prepare systems documentation, SOPs, and training materials for automated systems. Utilize data historian software to extract relevant machine data. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement recommendations for reducing chronic problems and improving productivity or performance. Utilize PLC programming software to update machine-readable instructions to re-design automated processes and improve line efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS: Associate degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field and 3 years in any job title involving experience in factory controls or Operational Technology. Prior experience must include: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including vendors, maintenance, and engineering to troubleshoot and optimize control systems; Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programming and troubleshooting industrial control systems including Allen-Bradley; Developing and modifying Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) applications for process visualization and control; Reading and interpreting electrical and network drawings to support control system troubleshooting; Experience with Industrial Networking, including device communication setup and troubleshooting; Experience with process instrumentation including sensors, actuators, variable frequency drives, servos, and vision systems; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas, data tables, graphs and Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; and Experience with safety systems and lockout/tagout procedures. Must be available to provide technical support outside of regular business hours, as required.
