Why You Will Love this JobThe position partners with leaders, team members and key stakeholders to advise on talent acquisition, onboarding, learning & performance management, engagement, and rewards/recognition. This position will champion HR programs, practices, and policies with the overall objective of maintaining and nurturing a strong, talent focused culture. Is a key contributor to the management of partnering relationships with, building effective working relationships, and providing high-quality professional services to support in delivering business production plans.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Supports overall business unit strategy, solutions and workforce plans that align to the business and site strategy and objectives on production goals
- Partners with HR Dir to plan, create and coach to support organizational change management, communications, engagement actions at the assigned site(s).
- Establish and maintain relationships of trust to foster transparency, open and honest two-way communication, and collaboration.
- Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues and referring very complex or contentious issues to others.
- Coach associates and managers regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitation of formal/informal complaints to resolution, discipline and/or terminations in line with company policies and legal practices.
- Fosters a One Team HR approach by collaborating with our COE's and Human Resources Business Partners to drive continuous improvement of our colleague experience and enhance our employee value proposition.
- Provide back-up support to other HR team members to provide coverage during vacations, training, or other key events.
- Reports to Director-Human Resources, Home Energy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required. HR Certification(s) desired.
- Substantive applicable work experience together with comprehensive job-related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level.
- Experience as a trusted advisor to management on business issues and business strategy with the ability to link human resources as a driver and influencer of business performance.
- Comprehensive HR experience, including a complete understanding of and hands on exposure to the full mix of HR functions and navigating in a matrix-ed environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with a bias for action, continuous improvement, and team orientation.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication competencies.
- Ability to use a high level of tact, diplomacy, discretion and empathy/understanding in a diverse work environment.

The Salary range for this position is $94,400.00-$119,950.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
