Responsibilities include:

• troubleshooting issues and problems with systems, equipment, etc. within marine vessel construction


• inspects the installation of equipment and new technologies, supports on-site production crews, conducts research, monitors and reports on project status


• Communicates with Production personnel to determine engineering needs and explains complex issues


• Ensures that everything works and is installed properly and engineering designs are being followed in accordance with engineering principles, company standards, customer furnished specifications and regulatory agency requirements.  


• Identifies and reports on construction or machinery problems, including gaps in engineering design. 

Requirements - qualified candidate MUST have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a


• minimum of 5 years’ experience in design development of marine projects such as tugs, barges, offshore supply vessels and small crafts
