Tax Manager/Senior Manager (Ridgeland, MS)

HRK is looking for a Tax Manager (or Senior Manager) who is not only technically proficient but also passionate about leveraging technology to streamline processes, drive efficiencies, and lead teams in a digital-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.


• Lead tax engagements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.


• Collaborate with partners and clients to provide proactive tax planning and advisory services.


• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff and seniors.


• Drive utilization and optimization of CCH Axcess Tax software, including workflow, document management, and cloud-based features.


• Champion the use of innovative technology solutions across the tax function, including AI-enabled tools, data analytics, and automation platforms.


• Stay current with changes in tax law and best practices in tax technology.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.


• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.


• Minimum of 5 years of public accounting tax experience.


• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.


• Strong experience with CCH Axcess and its ecosystem (Workbench, Document, Engagement, etc.) preferred.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, tech-savvy, collaborative environment.


• In person preferred but open to hybrid/remote for the right candidate.
