Position: Youth Programmer (Part-time)

Nature of work:
This is specialized work in teaching and administering recreational programs. Employee is under the general supervision of the Programs Division Manager. Employee works independently and uses specialized knowledge to develop programs and carry them through to attain desired objectives.

Examples of work:
• Supervises various programs such as basketball, softball, tennis, etc.

• Organizes, schedules and supervises leagues and programs.

• Plans and programs activities.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in recreation or related field or ten (10) years’ experience in recreation programs and services preferred. Ability to instruct and relate to the general public.
