Description
INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES SERVICES SITE COORDINATOR
The primary duties of this position are planning, promoting, coordinating and directing activities of staff and intellectually / developmentally disabled clients of the Site.
EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains documentation as evidence that all duties are completed in accordance with program requirements contained in
the Mississippi Department of Mental Health Operational Standards.
- Maintains proper training, continuing education, qualifications, and other certifications required for this position as written in
the Mississippi Department of Mental Health Operational Standards.
- Day-to-day operation of site.
- Planning and giving specific directions to staff supervised.
- Selecting and requisitioning materials, equipment and supplies.
- Consulting with and making recommendations to administrative superiors.
- Maintain payroll, production and other reports as required.
- Organize, procure, and set production procedures for work-training contracts.
- Engage with staff in training and habilitation process of intellectually / developmentally disabled CONU.
- Transportation of clients as directed by supervisor.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years’ work experience in mental health, IDD or related field. Must have TB skin test completed prior to employment.
