Director

Surehouse Learning Center is a childcare center that offers before and after school services for school-aged

children in Hattiesburg, MS. We are currently accepting applications for the position of a Director Designee.

Employment Status

Part-Time Salary $10/ hour

Hours 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Required Qualifications

â?? Must be a U.S. Citizen

â?? Must be able to work cooperatively with families and staff

â?? High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

â?? A two-year degree in childcare, child development, or education or higher

â?? A good driving record

â?? Ability to drive a fifteen passenger van

â?? Ability to pass a drug test

â?? Ability to instruct students aged from five to twelve years old

â?? Acceptable background check for childcare licensure in the state of Mississippi

â?? Acceptable immunization record (121 Form) for working in a childhood setting

â?? Recognition, or must obtain CDA within 18 months of hire date

Preferred Qualifications

â?? Prior experience working in a childhood program or education

â?? Applier with CPR and First Aid certification
