Local Housing office seeking an Occupancy Specialist.  


Job Summay

Responsible to the Deputy Director and serves as the initial point of contact of public housing applicants/residents.  Determines public housing applicant/resident's eligible and priority.  Determines applicable rents, processes leases and other required documents.  Responsible for collecting of dwelling rents and other charges. Orients new residents to housing authority regulations and maintains good relations with residents.  Responsible for insuring assigned develoments meet or exceed performance standards prescribed by the housing authority and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
