The Maintenance & Facilities Manager will lead all maintenance and facilities operations for both Hattiesburg manufacturing plants, overseeing a team that includes supervisors, a planner, and hourly staff. Drive a cultural shift to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), improve equipment reliability, and reduce downtime while ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Specific Responsibilities
Lead a multi-level maintenance team and foster leadership development. Drive TPM transformation from reactive to proactive maintenance. Oversee multiple equipment installations and engineering projects annually. Maintain and optimize SAP work order system, PM compliance, and tool crib inventory. Track and analyze OEE and maintenance metrics; implement improvements. Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to improve part quality and uptime.
Implement predictive maintenance tools (e.g., vibration analysis, ultrasonic monitoring, MTBF reporting). Ensure safety training compliance for all maintenance and facilities staff. Manage project budgets, procurement, and cost control for maintenance and facilities.
Standardize processes and create SOPs to capture and share organizational knowledge.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or related technical field. 10+ years industrial maintenance/facilities leadership in manufacturing. 7+ years managing leaders (supervisors/managers). Proven TPM leadership experience. Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills; PLCs, VFDs, crane systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite; able to analyze data for decision-making.
Preferences
Experience implementing TPM or PM systems. SAP maintenance module proficiency. Lean/Kaizen/continuous improvement experience.
The Salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$149,500.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
