Description

What The Role Is
Under supervision of the National Operations Manager, the Division Operations Manager is responsible for supervising mortgage loan operations, including the processing and closing of mortgage loans, within a mortgage branch or branches in a specific area.
Remote within Cadence Bank footprint- Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas.  Preferably within a 30-to-45-minute drive from a Cadence Bank Branch.
How You will Make an Impact
Provides direction and leadership to loan operations team to ensure corporate goals of volume, quality and compliance standards are met.
Ensure the loan operations team complies with applicable regulations, investor requirements, credit policies and procedures and meets customer service standards.
Monitors and manages branch performance, as it relates to operations, and reports findings to senior management.
Manages the daily activities and workflow of the operations team to move loans from processing to closing timely and efficiently.
Maintains a collaborative work environment that fosters excellent rapport with production staff when addressing processing/closing issues, underwriting issues, compliance issues and customers service levels.
Monitors changes to company and investor products and procedures and standards; trains staff and implements changes as required.
Who You Are
Knowledge of all aspects of mortgage lending with good understanding of all agencies, including FHA, VA, FNMA and USDA underwriting guidelines.
Knowledge of downpayment systems preferred.
Be able to meet strict time deadlines and work independently under pressure.
Detailed oriented and able to follow set guidelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prefer 10 years mortgage loan experience and 5 years of management experience.
5 plus years of Encompass experience required.
Works cooperatively with others.
Regular and reliable attendance.
